Part-day program enrollment

Enrollment in the part-day program is open to the public.

As a program of the University of Minnesota, we provide equal access to and opportunity in our programs, facilities, and employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, age, marital status, disability, public assistance status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

We operate on the University of Minnesota semester calendar. Enrollment is for the entire academic year. Once admitted, we expect a child to continue until they’re ready for kindergarten.

Current family enrollment

Enrollment priority is given to children currently attending the part-time program and their siblings. A $200 per child non-refundable enrollment fee is due upon enrollment.

In determining placement for the multi-age morning classes, priority is given to:

  • children currently enrolled in that class time;
  • eligible siblings of currently enrolled children; and
  • children who will start kindergarten the following school year.

Remaining vacancies for the multi-age morning program are filled by random drawing from the pool of re-enrollment/sibling enrollment applications received by the deadline. Any waitlist positions will also be determined by random drawing.

Enrollment in the 2-year-old classes is determined based on age. Priority is given to eligible siblings of currently enrolled children.
