Your child's records

We periodically ask families to review and update their child's or children's information in our database, for example, emergency contact information and skin care product permissions. Log into the database with the username and password that you chose when registering at CDLS and follow these instructions to update your records.

Parent education

As a laboratory school, we seek to share resources on child development with our caregiver community. Enrolled families can borrow parenting books from our collection and receive links to additional resources in our weekly update. Here is a selection of content from our staff about best-practice approaches to early education and child development.

CDLS Director Sheila Williams Ridge co-created this video about introducing early math concepts using materials found in nature.

    Family Advisory Council

Families are invited to engage with CDLS through the Family Advisory Council (FAC), which serves as a communication bridge between families and CDLS leadership to work together to ensure CDLS continues to be an exceptional place to learn and work. Caregivers of children in the full-day, part-day, and Dakhód’iapi Wahóȟpi programs are welcome to join. The FAC meets monthly (hybrid) from September–May.

For more information, please view the FAC purpose statement.
