Here at CDLS, we pride ourselves on being a program that fosters each child’s creative spirit as well as their cognitive and intellectual development. We also pride ourselves on being a vibrant community of learners. In addition to our littlest learners, we also train enthusiastic early childhood education teaching candidates, who share their own excitement for learning with our children and families.

Positions Currently Available
Assistant child care teachers are responsible for assisting a classroom of children from all backgrounds and identities in accordance with the policies and philosophy of Child Development Laboratory School and the Institute of Child Development. This includes assisting in establishing a learning environment that is inclusive and developmentally age appropriate, developing emergent curriculum, supervising, and monitoring child development, providing high quality care, maintaining classroom materials, first aid and daily health checks. Assistant child care teachers also support and advance the school’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
