The University of Minnesota Child Development Center and Shirley G. Moore Laboratory School are uniting to form the University of Minnesota Child Development Laboratory School. The new, combined program will be academically and administratively housed in the Institute of Child Development (ICD) and integrated with the department’s research and early childhood education training programs.
The new program is set to officially launch in Fall 2021 and will be located at 921 17th Ave SE in Minneapolis, near the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus. A new website for the Child Development Laboratory School is in development. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore the programs’ current websites. We look forward to sharing additional updates with our community in the months ahead!
